The Seiko 5 Sports SKX series Asia-Pacific Limited Edition, SSK046K1takes inspiration from the beautiful glow seen at sunrise. The watch captures the serene beauty of a sunrise with its elegant off-white dial, symbolizing the soft glow of the early morning light.
During the quiet moments before the sun rises, in the early stages of the sunrise, the sky gradually transitions from a soft off-white hue to subtle pinks and oranges. To express this serene transformation, we introduced pink gold accents on the side of the rotating bezel and on the GMT hand for the first time in the SKX GMT series.
The design of the case and dial draws inspiration from one of Seiko’s best-loved sports watches, known to enthusiasts as the Seiko SKX series. The five-row bracelet is a new design also inspired by the original SKX series in which the middle rows are polished to create a contrast with the solid feel of the rows that bind them. The bezel’s ring indicator is made of Seiko’s Hardlex glass to deliver the high level of durability for which the Seiko 5 Sports collection is renowned.
